Become involved in the
Warrandyte Theatre
The Warrandyte Theatre Company is at its heart, a part of the Warrandyte community, and while it gives an outlet for creativity for actors there are many interesting roles to be filled off-stage with each production.
Involvement with our theatre company is becoming part of a collaborative extended family, with everyone working to bring a production to fruition.
We are interested in hearing from you if you would like to join in any capacity, and besides actors we have many off-stage roles to be filled in each production:
- writers
- lighting design
- lighting operator
- photographer
- sound design
- sound operator
- musicians
- choreographer
- make-up assistant
- stage-hands
- stage-manager and assistant stage-manager
- costumers
- set design
- set-builders/painters
- poster/publicity design
- marketing
- front of house, etc.
We have a great pool of experienced volunteers who can show you the ropes, but we’re always keen to have new people lend a hand.
Auditions
For those of you interested in acting we hold auditions throughout the year several months before each production.
